I lost my way in the thickness of clouds,
And wandered hither and thither;
Resolving to reach my love up there,
But she flew further and further.
On the way I had met the wind,
And he blocked my trail to her;
And to continue to travel, I had to,
Submit myself in spirit humble.
The wind gave me way…he had to,
As I made him my Master;
Kindled with the blessings of the wind,
I scaled into the wide blue yonder.
Lightning flashed on my path,
Trying to block my way;
Thinking of a way to evade,
I strived a detour from the pathway.
(But) The blaze of the lightning blinded me,
While the Thunder roared by my side;
Stopping me with a shocking spell,
Nothing seemed in favor of me.
Struck with the power of his armor,
I shuddered, shuddered and shuddered;
Kneeling down, I begged them both,
Distress giving birth to tremor.
Thunder thawed out of mercy,
Allowing me to linger unto my journey;
Lightning blessed my path with light,
Making it bright and shining.
Black cloud was the next I faced,
Who exclaimed crying blasphemy;
“You want to meet the Empress of the sky,
O mortal! How daring can you ever be!”
I pleaded the cloud with all compliance,
In the name of wind, lightning and thunder;
Quest for my love won in the last;
And the ‘queen of the sky’ let go her anger.
Grasping for the breath as I passed through,
Traversing beyond the ‘Cloud Nine’;
I reached the Seventh Heaven only to find,
I had lost ‘myself’ and ‘Her’…in eternity of time!!!
